There's a business nearby where I live who contacted me about having an interview. However, they wouldn't hold my interview at that site. They would hold it at one of their other sites that happens to be around an hour away from me.
I said that before anything I had a couple questions I'd like to ask. In the job posting it said that we would work holidays plus have mandatory overtime 'as necessary'. I asked what holidays we would have to work plus if the overtime had a set schedule. The person I was talking with (someone from staffing) said they don't have the information I was looking for but that I'd be able to get answers during my interview.
Is it worth it to hold the interview? The answers to these questions make or break the position for me. I don't want to drive all that way, sit down and have a whole interview, and then get an answer that forces me to give up the position. I just hoped to get some insight to help me make my decision.
