Should I give a solid two weeks notice?

I work as a wastewater operator for the state of California. I left a job and people I absolutely loved because i was promised a set salary after my probation period was up (six months). I’m Coming up in my year anniversary with no raise yet and the set salary I was promised was a lie. The management is complete trash, absolutely no support. I got offered my old job back starting at the same amount I make at the job I’m at now and I’ve accepted it. I just have to do my fingerprint and background check and I’m good to go. Should I give them a week notice and start on the first or should I give a solid two weeks.
