This is my second job outside of University and it has been the worst experience I've had in terms of management. My “Career manager” has been awful, and I can't wait to leave this job.
I took exactly one day of sick leave due to poor mental health. I reported this with discretion to HR when submitting my sick leave form and my manager basically interrogated me during my 6 month review about this. I felt this was really unnecessary and is simply not his business.
I had a leg injury and was walking with a walking stick, my career manager saw me and said I was looking better. He remarked that “when I try to find you I look for the guy with the limp”.
After taking 4 days of sick leave after being ill for 3 weeks, I was again interrogated and asked for justification of my annual leave.
I'm currently looking for a new job and want to post my experience on LinkedIn after I leave. Is this a bad idea?
