Here's some background for me: I'm 22yrs, Autistic who balances work with college on a regular basis. I don't have a car so I have to often rely on Uber to take me from School to work. I'm about to end my 3rd year next month and I've worked for almost 2yrs. I work at a warehouse as a Package handler.
For what I'm going through right now, I've just learned from my college doctor that I have a anxiety disorder. I had to go after my body went hay wire after drinking a Reign Energy drink. I use to drink energy drinks quite often in order to keep up with both work and school, but not only has it almost killed me, but I really affected my work schedule.
To get to the point, I'm debating whether or not to quit the job once summer is over. Because despite being a decent with hard but doable work, it feels like it has taken more than what it gave me.
Here's what I mean:
– Loss of sleep
– Missing out on school events
– Making me spend half of my pay to get from point A to point B
– Falling behind on some school work
However, the reason why I'm so hesitate on to leaving this job is because of hard it's gonna be to find another job that's flexible with my schedule while being suited to my skills. As I mentioned, I have autism and I have a very hard time talking to people in an extended amount of time. So anything involving customer service is immediately out of the question.
And I want keep a job with a steady flow money to both help me on my academics and fuel my hobbies.
Any form of help is appreciated
