Should I sign a contract for a bonus that forces me to give 6 months of notice?

I am working for a small company of 20-30 employees. I am in a management position and my salary is about 100k. I was recently asked to sign a document that would give me 10k bonus at the end of the year but would require me to give 6 months of advanced notice if I ever intend to leave my position. I have a great relationship with everyone in the company and I love working there, but I feel like this is too much to ask since it will make it very difficult to find a new job in the future if I tell the company offering me a job that I will need to wait 6 months before I can accept their offer. When I brought this up I was told that I am free to not sign the contract, but if I'm not trying to be invested “long-term” then they will need to find somebody who is. They are definitely not threatening to fire me, but the impression is that I cannot continue to advance with the company as it grows unless I sign.
