I had a interview right before Christmas and was told I was perfect. Got scheduled right away from the next interview for the first workday after the NY holiday.
That interview went great, person also said I should be fast tracked and I was perfect.
Got an email the next day from the hiring manager… someone was 'referred' in the week that I interviewed and was hired basically immediately because they knew someone… within the 5 days of me first talking to the company.
But they want to keep my info on file.
I told them to go F themselves and never contact me again.
I've been out of work for 6 months after getting really, really sick. Every job I have gotten to the end has been cut, frozen, or given away to a friend who just got let go from twitter, slack, google etc.
I'm so sick of this bullshit.
I want to start publicly shaming companies that allow this on LI.
