Should tolerating toxic people be an ideal trait? Context in photo desc.

So I made a post in a different sub sharing how I would sometimes run into toxic people I the workplace and that would convince me to job hop. One advice I was given was that dealing with toxic people is an important trait in my career. Dealing as in tolerate, not effectively address the situation practically by cutting off the toxicity altogether.
