Just want your opinion, especially living the ones in USA and Europe. Would you be willing to reduce your life quality and purchasing power for things in order for workers to earn decent salary in parts of 3rd world who actually make those things?
To put in perspective, started eating Acai berries for potential health benefits. I pay 50$ for pound powder, the berries picker who risk their health in dangerous and hard work gets paid 0.20$. If they would earn a decent salary it would be harder for me afford it. So it would happen with a lot of things that we take for granted. Which seems cheap now, like salt or even phones costing few thousand, would cost much more if people who make earn a decent salary to live.
