Because this is an anti-work page, I will attempt to stay on topic in regards to the workplace environment, but these compliments carry over into the experiences I've had working with Gen Z's and is a testament to their character.
I just want to say that based on my personal experience I have not met very many if at all Gen Z's that fit the stereotype of not wanting to work or being lazy or feral (Yes as I've heard)
In my industry we employ a lot of students and the work I do is not easy. We work 10 hour days and perform strenuous exercise in labor roles on a daily basis.
These kids show up every day, sometimes for years and put in an honest days work all the while maintaining a positive attitude. They are hopeful for their futures and are thinking critically about financial decisions or moves to make in regards to their futures in living situations. They don't tolerate harassment or abuse and will check employers to remind them that they are dependent on their workforce and their companies will crumble without them.
Overall I would say that they are headstrong and confident and don't take b******* and are committed to themselves and their co-workers into working honestly and honorably.
Sure, once in a while you get a couple of bad eggs but you can't blame it on the generation itself. Always boils down to individual people and life circumstances. Based on what I've seen, however, Gen Zs philosophies are exactly what the workforce needs
