not sure what I can do, I've been sick for a few days and have missed 2 days of work. I was told I need to find a replacement, get a doctor's note, and/or take a write up. we're short staffed and I can't get a replacement since the only other adult workers are already at work, its not a weekend so I can't ask the highschoolers to come in. symptoms are similar to a lot of other people's right now, “severe allergies” that result in positive covid tests. I work in food so being told to come in already goes against my food handlers license training.
for today I've just taken the L and write up but I don't think ill be getting better by tomorrow, I don't have a primary care doctor, insurance, or make the money to be able to afford going to the ER for one fucking doctor's note. this is ridiculous imo and the last fast food job I will ever work.
