Congress and the president think that forcing these record-profit-setting rail companies to provide 7 guaranteed sick days is a non-starter somehow. They just won’t do it. Senate and Biden barely said anything about it.
Meanwhile the pentagon wants to buy 100 brand new stealth bombers that cost 750 million dollars each so that it can “scare china.”
It’s been said a million times, but this country has a sickness. We privatize our infrastructure and allow the companies in charge to exploit workers. We turn around use public taxpayer funds to buy Northrop bombers for god knows what reason beyond enriching these merchants of death.
What a farce.
