I mean I am an idiot. But it gets really depressing getting constantly disrespected when all I do is show up and try my best. Constantly whispered about. Constantly at the butt-end of passive aggressive power moves.
Fuck “it’s just business”. Harassment isn’t business. The worst part is I can’t do anything about it either because it’s always passive aggressive. Never obvious. Always “coy”. I can never fully catch them in the act without freezing due to my social anxiety…so they get away with it
I hate working. I hate being around people. I hate not being seen as a human worthy of respect for crappy pay. I’m ALWAYS cordial and respectful to people. But to everyone else I’m a joke.
There’s nothing I can do. I get treated this way everywhere I go. I don’t want to work anymore.
