I am over qualified for these positions I’m applying for. These employers take, take, take and expect the most out of people yet are unprofessional during the hiring process and can’t even give the bare minimum back. I’m tired of hearing family say what I should and shouldn’t do during my job search. Employers can have standards, and so can I. I refuse to settle for less than what I want or need which frankly isn’t asking for much. Right now I’m below poverty level- god forbid I ask for 30-50 k a year as a college grad with four years experience. I genuinely hope the people they’re hiring instead of me (based on whatever it is they got hired for- being a family friend, etc ) screw them over somehow. I’m ready and willing to work and these companies are so ungrateful.
My time has been wasted so much- dead serious, someone actually put me though two interviews after they had already had someone else in the final stages they were set on. There is 0 respect.
