The company I work for has a toxic male egotistical corporate vibe. The thing is this place creates a product that is desperately needed by the community. Operations are being sabotaged and I suspect it’s intentional. The people I work with are “blue collar” and we truly care and express interest in betterment but it is made clear our opinions and service are worthless to them. We are left out of the loop of news and decision making.The organization is substantially funded by grant and donations and it seems like someone is intentionally sabotaging operations in the pursuit of grant money. The worst part is the “them” vs “us” mentality. You wear suits or you don’t and they don’t care for your opinion if you ain’t one of them. Especially if you don’t carry male appendages. The thought of unionization seems overwhelming and exhausting, but they refuse to pay staff what they are worth. Many looking for another job. Thank you for listening.
