I recently quit my job of three years due to a serious hand injury that required significant surgery. When i put out plastic “silverware” the day of the injury (a big Valentine's meal) due to loss of sensation in my fingers, my boss chased me out with his fist raised after i told him I might as well quit after revealing that indeed, the tendon was surely severed. He expected me to serve nonetheless.
What I am ashamed to admit is that I never reported the abuse, often of a sexual nature (I since have)
That being said, my last three weeks involved getting guests to sign a petition to maintain outdoor seating. This seating is not only dangerous to guests, but also to employees, and likely added to my joint instability.
I have today launched a counter petition against this restaurant.
