I received a job offer last Friday for a temporary/contract position. It’s through an agency out of state and the actual job is in my town. I start in about a week.
I did the background check and drug test. Signed the contract. There are no issues because I got copies of the background check and drug test. I have been contacting the company with a few questions and they will not email me back or return a call. I stopped job hunting because of this offer. And today I see on Indeed they are “actively reviewing candidates today”.
I have a sinking feeling that they are dicking me around. What can I do?
