My friend was a manager at one of the Simply Macs until this morning when he found out through their Google chat they were bankrupt, closing permanently effective immediately, and no last paycheck. No official notice or emails sent.
They had even told him last week his bonus they were 2wks late in paying would be included in the check they knew he’d never receive.
And what about all the products in for repair that are locked in the store without anyone to return them to the customer because who works for free??
