Please feel free to ignore this rant. I am a freelance attorney (I have a disability and Covid has made it really hard to find a job) who works as a paralegal quite a bit to supplement my income late November through January 1st can be a very slow time which means very little money and no paid holidays. If I don't work any particular day I don't get paid.
I have friends and family who say I'm so lucky to have the downtime but all I can think about is how little money is coming in.
Any fellow contractors feel that way?
