So called “work” friend told my manager my medical history

I was stupid enough to think this person was my friend. But she turned vindictive and started harassing me really badly. This woman has some serious issues and will do anything to throw me under the bus. Anyway, I think she told my manager I have ADHD. I actually don't care that much, but what pisses me off is that she did it to hurt me. It's not like she was concerned about my well-being. This bitch will tear up anyone she perceives as a threat. Somehow, I managed to get on her shit list. Is it illegal for an employee to tell a manager private medical about another employee without their permission? I'm thinking about going to the EEOC.
