about something he asked me to do, in which I apparently did not do. I thought he asked me to take something apart so production could clean it he continued to yell and said all I had to do was wipe the inside off and put it back on.
And the fact that I took most of the pieces apart to get the piece off, which is not how he does it, he apparently bend the parts to make it clear the piece it was hitting,
He continued yelling at me, and said that he ended up having to do it, he then continued to yell at me over other stuff, and so I decided at that point to start yelling back, told him what I thought of him, and that I did not care about his opinion, after he angrily walked away, i immediately went to talk to my supervisor about it,
I told him I was not going to be putting up with that type of behavior, and that he also has no right to yell at me since he isnt me superior.
I was so mad afterwards, that my depression kicked it, and while I was in the shop, I started to cry.
I later decided to go to HR because I am tired of this hostel workplace environment. The HR lady seemed receptive; she actually teared up with everything I told her about what has been going on.
So this guy every day is yelling and cursing, saying “these stupid mother fuckers” talking about the production crew, all day, everyday, and everyone in maintenance now does the same when they are talking about anyone in the production area.
I told them how he sits, flirts, and talks to this sales woman from Fastenal for up to 3 hours at times. (We only get 2 10 minute breaks and a 20 minute lunch break)
To top it off, the guy bragged one day in front of me, some woman from Columbia, and another guy that he use to make fun of a woman from Honduras and would call her a mexican just to make her mad.
I told them about how the maintenance supervisor told a racist joke,
I told the HR lady that if someone doesnt stand up, that this will just keep happening, and that I am not going to work in a hostel work place. I told her I could easily sue the company, and that anyone else could as well.
So the bad thing for me, I have a 120 day probationary period. So they can use anything to say its not working out now…
Do you guys think I will lose me job?
