So many people have just accepted our situation, and want to ‘keep the peace’, and refuse to discuss anything ‘negative’. They get defensive and angry if anybody ‘complains’ at all. Here’s a bunch of their catchphrases I hear all the time

'Keeping the peace ' 'The status quo' 'It is what it is' 'It's part of the job' 'Well there's nothing we can do about it so I don't stress about it' 'I don't like to worry about that kind of stuff' 'Just ignore it' 'It's not that bad' 'That problem doesn't exist'(we both know it does) 'Seniority' And the way the boot lickers just get so MAD if you ever discuss anything along the lines of improving conditions or even suggesting better ways to do things
