I’m in California but I don’t want to get into specifics with the company name but it’s the “ biggest employer in the us” anyways. I used the restroom yesterday, being a warehouse there’s usually a wait time since there’s a lot of people in the building (1k+) once I exited, I was taking out my earbuds as I exited the restroom dope and was met by the GM of the building. He asked me do I know how long I was in the restroom I replied with “ not long but im sure you asking me is illegal “ and he said he waited out there for 10 minutes to see who was taking long and had to write my badge down since I was using my earbuds and he couldn’t have me on the floor with them or even in the restroom. Mind you I was taking them off already and was only wearing them inside the restroom. He took my name down to write me up. Is this even legal ? Also I’m the autistic person of the warehouse and it’s in writing and even he knows it.
