This neoliberal capitalist hellworld we call “America” is purgatory.
We’re all lingering here, waiting for some final judgement. Fascism? Neo-feudalism? Socialism? Who knows.
What I do know, though, is the suffering hasn’t even begun yet for Americans. For a solid century now we’ve made everyone else suffer under our imperial boots and now the machine gun of imperialism is coming home to roost. I’m not saying we as individuals “deserve”this fate, after all we’re all powerless to the systems that operate around us, but we’ll get it all the same.
