I saw a now unfortunately deleted post on here a few days ago where a person was complaining about only getting payed about $12/hour as a shift SUPERVISOR for a pharmacy!
That caught my attention because that is the exact same amount I was offered to literally walk around a ranch all day, feed horses, muck out their stalls, and replace their straw.
Meanwhile according to Google, to work in a pharmacy in the United States you need:
– A high school diploma or GED.
– Formal education or training.
– To pass an exam.
– Fees to pay.
– Continuing education.
– Some states and employers require even more certification.
So me… a 17 year old (at the time) with absolutely no work experience, who hasn’t even graduated high school yet, could be making as much as a pharmacy supervisor in about a year? Wtf America…
Btw I didn’t get the job at the ranch because they just straight up ghosted me, but still…
