Some input would be nice

So I've been working at this company for 2 years now and I thought my raises were pretty good. I went from 15.50 to 17.00, but then I realized another coworker who's been working there for a good 5 years or so is only making 18.00 so 3 year gap and I'm already a dollar behind THEN we lost 2 people so I decided to snoop and see what beginning wage is and it's currently 17-18 dollars so NOW I no longer see that I have gotten a raise. It seems more like they're just raising to match new hires which is cool and all except in previous jobs they were upfront and would explain they're raising me to their current minimum THEN tack on whatever they raised me at so I'm extremely confused as to how this system works. I mean with some quick research the job I'm doing with other companies is making 20.00 an hour and as much as I don't want to leave (my bosses are pretty cool for once) I'm struggling with the money I am making to make ends meet…
