Someone give me some hope…

I left my job today. Walked out on my boss mid-sentence. I'm not going to get in to why, but I assure you she deserved it. I worked my ass off every day, never worked from home, went above and beyond on everything, etc. The dynamic in the office was absolutely terrible, the management completely incompetent, refusing to do work ever, blaming me and my coworkers for their mistakes and insanity, the usual BS. I'm 35. I keep looking for a job that has minimally competent managers and only a little drama and people who actually care about the work (I work in a field where you would expect everyone to care, but this has simply not been the case). Is this all there is? Does everywhere truly suck like this? Someone please give me some hope that there is a good job out there somewhere for me. I have…

I'm 35. I keep looking for a job that has minimally competent managers and only a little drama and people who actually care about the work (I work in a field where you would expect everyone to care, but this has simply not been the case). Is this all there is? Does everywhere truly suck like this?

Someone please give me some hope that there is a good job out there somewhere for me. I have advanced degrees and good experience in my field as well as interdisciplinary experience. I'm not lazy or shitty. But at this point I just want to give up and move into a van down by the river.
