This gaslighting response from my supervisor shows how little they care about me as a person, my ability to plan my life, or work other jobs. They took advantage of my commitment and dedication and stole my opportunity to be doing other work this weekend. I understand sometimes work doesn't go as planned, but they should have let me know when they found out. I have been reaching out since April 15 to stay in communication with them. I shouldn't have had to go hunting them down because I haven't heard anything. I wouldn't be allowed to do that to them, but they are completely comfortable doing it to me… I shouldn't have to point out that if they have set expectations with their employees they need to inform them when those expectations change. They should have taken responsibility for not communicating with me in a timely manner and costing me time I could have spent working other jobs. Instead, I received this hollow insincere text taking no responsibility for their actions or how they affect others.
