Attitude, enthusiasm, and efficiency are all critical to Starbuck’ customer experience.
Think about it. Unionization would mean that some baristas would be slower. Would a slow experience stop you from going to Starbucks? Imagine a barista gave you attitude, or was rude to you. Whelp, “they’re protected by the union” and it’s their right. Would this affect your preference of Starbucks over alternatives?
In reality, I don’t think many customer facing roles can be unionized.
