Just want to rant here. I was hired on basis that I will mostly be remote, and just come in to office now and then. 3rd day into my new job and I was told that I have to now start coming 3-4 times a week into office for 8 hour shifts. I seriously hate this bait and switch nonsense they pulled on me, renegading on their promise in no short time!! Apparently its for “increasing communication and productivity”… for f sakes, you are a small company for crying out loud! Past 2 years were not productive anymore?
Gotta hit the job market again soon but god damn it, don't sell me on something and flip on me the moment I join. It really sucks that as an employee I can't hold my employer to his broken promises and my only option is to vote with my feet!
