So, for context, I have college courses. I was told they’d work with me, that I could do split shifts and remote work. It’s been okay. Albeit, there have been many aggressive issues the last three months, they’re spaced out.
Like, my coworker stopped coming in early and comes in towards closed, “working from home”. She yells at me for things that aren’t my fault, like one of our guys not reason his paperwork and shipping wrong. She’s yelled at me for being away from desk, when I’m SUPPOSED to cover for other people. Etc. her and the big boss message me WELL AFTER I’m supposed to clock out too (I do get paid) and I bring in 95+ hours every two weeks. They bother me on my PTO too.
I asked for a raised, denied. I asked for help, got approved for a person, and then they never hired anyone. (I am doing two jobs I wasn’t hired for…)
I’ve taken it in stride, even if I’m stressed.
Wednesday, I took PTO. Both of them harassed me my entire half day off.
Thursday, our shipper called out randomly and I had exams. So, I asked my coworker to come in earlier than 4-5PM because I had to leave at my scheduled time. She snapped that she has a new puppy, she HAS to stay home with the dog and her roommate. (The roommate and her are related, both play with the dog. There’s no danger… and they both stopped coming into the office, as they both work where I do.) Big Boss B got pissy with me, telling me I had to stay or I had to take pto/points if I left.
I straight up said since I had to work through my PTO Wednesday, I’m using it Thursday and I already had pto scheduled Friday. I’m out. (Fuck her. I am trying to work with everyone, and I have HR’s schedule approval… she tried to be vindictive because she favors my coworker. (NEITHER of us have full on work from home jobs anyway… my coworker doesn’t do half of her job.))
So, tonight I talked to my manager and explained everything. Stating that I am certainly not happy and I cannot risk my schedule being controlled when HR approved my schedule. This dude stated I had to think of my coworkers needs first with her puppy… what? I did EVERYTHING I could to get the proper documentation to adjust my schedule. She didn’t… I’m fucking over it.
