Landed the job I worked years to get, education and experience wise. Just to get told off for wanting a weekend off after months of 60-80 hour weeks. I'm salary I get paid to work 40 hours. The company line for nurse management is that this is how it is and everyone does it. 70 and 80 hour weeks should never be the normal. I walked away yesterday and now it being said that I fall in the category of “people who just don't want to work”. When did not wanting to work 70 hours and get paid for 40 become normal
