Story Time: Retribution

I have been working at a retail store for a long time- I can’t say how long or else I might doxx myself. My problem started roughly thirteen (13) years ago when my old manager retired, and a new manager transferred states and was signed on to my store. From the beginning he was always on my back and had a short-temper, he was the complete opposite of my old manager. Now I’ll say right now that I would classify my ‘new’ manager as someone who is a very dominant male and I would even say he is powerful. Anyway in the past two (2) years since COVID got bad in my country I have been studying lots of social skills and social engineering, gaining charisma and a new found confidence.

We had a work meeting one night in which we met with two other stores. As a long time employee I was tasked with as speech which I messed up due to my social anxiety, and to make it worse my manager berated me in front of everyone.

NOW HERE IS WHERE IT GETS
GOOD: My manager is a chronic smoker and would slip outside every twenty (20) minutes. I notice him slip out mid speech what I presume was about half way through his smoke I get up because I have to go to the toilet. I walk past the door my manager left through and notice it is propped open by a latch, to which I immediately shut instinctively- the adrenaline rush was insane. To make things better when I went to sit back down I noticed my manager had left his phone inside so he was out there without a phone on a cold night. He stayed out there until 11PM (about three hours) before walking home for two (2) hours. Sucked in

TLDR; 13 years ago I got a new a manger who would boss me around a a lot. I have gained a lot of charisma recently so when I saw him go outside for a cigarette one night I locked him out. He was in the cold for hours then had to walk home and he still doesn’t know who did it. Haha
