I have had this happen so many times. The dreaded “online application”. Half the time the application is crap and is glitchy and doesn’t work well. Plus, do companies think people have free time to devote to these ridiculous processes?
Just add a link in the ad to the application instead of us submitting a resume. Stop wasting our time and looking like a difficult company. Or better yet, why doesn’t HR take the resumes they are interested in and enter them manually into these systems. I bet they don’t because they don’t have the time. Neither do we. We are wasting our unpaid time on dozens of ridiculous assessments and countless interviews.
Not to mention the endless and time consuming assessments. Ever since Indeed started to allow employers to require assessments just for your resume to be viewed by the employer…I’m spending hours on these fucking tests.
Job applicants are not getting paid to interview, test, shadow, etc. Employers need to stop gobbling up my time with their garbage.
