So I worked in subway for about two weeks as I desperate for a job, I thought it was okay the pay isn’t great…but there was so many red flags showing up. If bread went stale it would come out of wages, dropped something out of the wage etc we wasn’t allowed to be ill we had to go in, they would use under 18s to do trial shifts and just say they don’t want them (we didn’t need anymore staff). They underpaid one of my work mates because she couldn’t make one shift due to traffic they took two weeks worth of pay off her wage. They don’t pay overtime and they only let us 15 minutes break for 8 hour shifts.
