i currently work for my state government in a specialized team. All my coworkers and boss are great. I quitely do my work and no one bothers me or watches over me. The team is intelligent and smart. I was promoted to this team in 2.5 years. Currently working from home 4 days a week and get full pension. The only thing that upsets me is the pay is low and getting more promotions can be hard as you have to wait for either a new budget or for people to retire or leave. The work is cool and interesting for sure but my ambitious self just isnt satisfied and wants to keep moving forward. But after reading this sub, its seems the corporate world sounds much worse. What do you guys think?
