Supervisor got hired in from a branch company a little over 3 years ago. Since then this man has done the absolute bare minimum. I work in a manufacturing complex and this dude never wanted to deal with the base floor workers. He would sit in his office all day long with headphones on and if you tried talking to him, he would pretend to be in a meeting. He never remembered to do anything asked of him and mucked up payroll twice.
Last week, however, we all smiled a little as we saw him pack up his office and leave. He tried to claim it was due to business downsizing and layoffs, but they had a replacement for him 3 days later. Still hate my job but at least we might have a new leader.
