I am a supervisor in healthcare and we get bonuses for achieving certain goals. When I got my break down for my bonus this month I realized that most of the objectives were things that my nurses and other staff did and I just directed them to do so.
I feel like giving them this money or even buying them something will be a slap in their face because it’ll seem I’m just making myself feel better (partially true) but when I talked to my boss about guving them a raise or bonus instead she told me it wouldnt happen.
What should I do? Getting this bonus is clearly immoral but it’s technically the company’s fuckup not mine. I’m a leftist trying to leave this position asap anyhow because I’ve been asked to be in charge of people so clearly being fucked over and can’t seem to change it.
