Like the title states we have a mandatory week off at my work. Supposedly it's normal for the financial sector I work in and my workplace really loves to remind us it's required. Was supposed to be on leave for 3 weeks but returned to work due to my own unforeseen circumstances. Requested the very last week of the year off and noted it as taking my mandatory week off and somehow the higher ups have miraculously found a way to circumvent this mandatory week off and now I have officially not taken a mandatory week off for over 12 months
I think I'm moving down the totem pole and they want to put me in my place. Been feeling like they want to fire me but they don't know what to do without. Leading up to this they want me to create all this documentation on how I do my job and train my newly hired boss to do everything I do.
Any legal basis or something I should keep in mind while interacting with these people?
