Some background: I was caught vaping in the men's restroom at work around a week ago, and was given a first and final write-up. I am very much aware of how stupid that was of me. I did not deny it, as I have set a precedent of not lying to the managers at my store. At the same time they informed me that I needed to bring in a doctor's note regarding the average length of time of my restroom breaks (I have medical issues that cause them to be between fifteen and twenty minutes long). I brought in a note the next day.
Several days ago, I used the restroom, and afterwards (I was later told by a coworker) a shift lead entered the restroom to see if I had vaped. She indicated to the store manager that she smelled my vape, and at around 2:30pm the assistant store manager pulled me into the shot room where the pharmacy manager was waiting. The assistant store manager informed me that the store manager had caught me vaping in the restroom again, and as a result I would be suspended without pay for a minimum of one week while HR and the store manager decided what to do with me. Then he told me I should be looking for another job. I informed the two managers present that I absolutely had not vaped in the restroom since my write-up. But it's my word against the store manager's. I have filed a report with my company's Ethics Hotline about this situation, but wanted your input. Is there anything more I can do here?
