Just went to H&R Block to file my taxes. I am a gig worker who has been unemployed for the last 5 months and who worked on several projects in 22. Ended up paying $400 just to go through the act of filing my taxes. W2s cost 80$ EACH. This is ridiculous and further shows how the poorest of us end up being screwed the hardest
