They need better pay, better compensation for lesson planning, and other things like
The school administration helping to hold bad parents accountable. (not entirely sure how this can happen but worth mentioning)
Let teachers decide on things more democratically, instead of the school board always having the final say.
Have basic school supplies be subsidized
Having shorter class days with the other half of the day being more Montessori like, which should mean less time doing grading and lesson planning, and students get exercise, spending their contained energy so they focus better, so its an easier time for the teachers.
If there is something important I'm missing feel free to share.
