Their pay is garbage (my wife has a master’s degree and makes less than I do with an Associate’s) Their safety is in question on a daily basis, benefits suck, the parents have no respect and raise children with no respect so they deal with that double whammy of bullshit daily. They’re constantly being micromanaged among a thousand other things. There is absolutely NO REASON to be a teacher in the US right now.
