So a month ago, I get a call from a recruiter about a software development job. He seemed impressed with my application and said that he would reach out to me in no later than two days. Well two days go by, nothing. I call a couple times, no answer. I email, no answer. A week or two goes by and I text him because his number was listed on his email signature asking about why he hasn’t been in contact with me. He replies back apologizing saying he’s been out due to a personal emergency and will get back with me when he is in office that following week. I tell him okay no worries hope all is well. Another week passes, and nothing, no replies to my emails nor messages. In the meantime a recruiter from the same company messages me on LinkedIn asking me to set up a time to talk about employment i reply back okay what time? No reply. Replied again, sent her an email. Nothing. I went as far as to go on the comments of her promoting new jobs to reach out to me and she deletes them. It sickens me the way people get treated and get ghosted. Tell me your thoughts. Was I in the wrong in this process?
