I worked very briefly thankfully in a fast food chain. I literally was so fed up at the working conditions that next day I told the manager on duty “Hey this ain't it for me”. She said ” Okay I understand turn in your uniform.” Also I didn't need to finish that shift. Franchise owner called me saying I they gave me everything in this very brief time. I said “I'm sorry but it's not for me.” She then says “Thank you for wasting my time.” Gurl I did what I did and she knew it was temporary. I literally had nightmares of people in line waiting with the grease alarm going off. I want to be part of the change fast food workers are treated like utter garbage and its so sad. I know I am weak for leaving early but this only lit a fire that burns brighter to write about the dehumanizing and terrible conditions that they are forced to work.
TLDR: Working fast food is hard gave me nightmares. Franchise owner says I wasted time. WTF.
