Thanks for taking over a whole department! No we won’t be compensating you

Recently my department has been on the bad end of a department merge. Essentially my employer dropped one department and we are taking over all their responsibilities. It has gone terribly. We received all of 30 minutes of training for a whole new system pertaining to a whole new product type unlike anything we’ve had to interact with before. There has been zero mention of compensation, our work volume has tripled, everyone is burnt out and angry. And what do we get? A 25$ Uber eats coupon that expired after ten days. It was sent on my days off just before a short leave, and if I hadn’t signed on to update my health benefits I wouldn’t have even seen it before it expired.
