Many people have stopped pretending at least in my social circle. It used to be that people were constantly talking about how “busy” they were as a status symbol of sorts, but now the new badge of honor is how people walked their dog in the middle of the work day or watched hours of Minions while they were supposed to work. It's refreshing.
