The company I used to work for is lurking my Reddit.

It’s been two years since I worked there, and I only worked there for 9 months, but somehow they’re still obsessed with me. Because they love to gossip about me, I’m going to gossip about them. Some fun things that happened while I worked there: -they took away my lock desk so I had no where to secure my emergency medication for my seizure condition (then put it across the room after I complained which was unhelpful because it was for emergencies. -would routinely “ice” each other and chug during workdays -they made me share a desk once they started hiring more people and my service dog had to cram himself in an isle and get stepped over all day -I was called a homophobic slur and in response, they gave the guy a promotion two weeks later -after they discovered I’d been dating a colleague (there was no HR…

It’s been two years since I worked there, and I only worked there for 9 months, but somehow they’re still obsessed with me. Because they love to gossip about me, I’m going to gossip about them. Some fun things that happened while I worked there:

-they took away my lock desk so I had no where to secure my emergency medication for my seizure condition (then put it across the room after I complained which was unhelpful because it was for emergencies.

-would routinely “ice” each other and chug during workdays

-they made me share a desk once they started hiring more people and my service dog had to cram himself in an isle and get stepped over all day

-I was called a homophobic slur and in response, they gave the guy a promotion two weeks later

-after they discovered I’d been dating a colleague (there was no HR or rule against this, and it went on 4 months before they found out and they only found out by lurking my socials), they told him “congratulations” and told me that I needed to “watch how this might effect my career” and “obviously I’d be taken off projects he was on”

-when I asked to work from home because going to the office was making my disability more severe, they said it would ruin team morale (two weeks before going remote for the pandemic)

-when I took the job I said it was important to have my name brand drugs covered by insurance and they said they would insure I’d get coverage. I asked them repeatedly after I was hired, they refused.

-they would routinely drink in the office during client calls and work, to the point of drinking games, and then drive home

-they had a beer fridge in every room of the office

-I was offered magic mushrooms and cannabis plants by an executive multiple times

-they pulled me and my service dog out to “meet with their board members” and the guy kept touting me as some metric of diversity hiring

-they made you answer help desk tickets after hours and got upset if you didn’t work around the clock

-they would create a “scoreboard” for people who answered the most tickets and shamed people lower on the list in front of everyone (the way to get the top of the list was to work weekends and evenings)

-they assigned me to write a blog article about how much I loved working there, and encouraged me to write about my disability

-there were literally three girls and 30 guys

-a colleague knew an ex hookup of mine, asked the guy about my naked body and described my tits in detail at a company outing

-was repeatedly sexually harassed by an executive

-another executive took a picture of myself and my service dog for the HR directory and loved it so much “he had to have it in his house and show his family”

-rampant alcoholism, if you didn’t drink you’d get judged and excluded

Anyway, I’ll likely have to abandon this account so they can truly get out of my life but I just wanted to share a bit before I do 🥰
