I’m being a devils advocate here so here’s what I think. Suddenly everyone can afford a house, causing housing prices to skyrocket. Either people working higher than minimum wage would have to accept they make the same amount as minimum wage earners or everyone elses wages will also increase. Companies will probably increase the prices of the products and services because they are greedy like that. In other words cost of living would increase dramatically as well.
