Just finishing 14 hours of work. I’m salary so only getting paid for 8. My new boss has slowly been ramping up expectations to the point I’m working 55+ hours a week to just keep up.
On top of this any mistake is met with passive aggressive sarcasm or belittlement. No delays are accepted and I’m expected to put out perfect work each time.
I came out of college with 10+ job offers to this place I loved. Upper management changed and it has become an absolute nightmare. I’m only a year out of college and can’t afford to be jobless. I am dying inside and I can’t accept another job fast enough.
I was expected to make manager but with the upper management change new boss has hired all of his old work friends for my position. Not only that but they’re making double to triple what I am and pushing all the work onto me.
This change has ruined all my aspirations and a good portion of my self-esteem. Please tell me it gets better elsewhere.
