Public Schooling in the U.S is the worst tool capitalist parasites use. From day 1 we are hammered with the bleak prospect of having to work. Deadlines and due dates, assignments with no meaning or value in life. It just prepares you for being a coorperate slave.
Take recess, for example. Where I live recess in elementary schools is only 30 minutes. In middle schools lunch is also only 30 minutes. The same with high school. Then right back to work for the next 4 hours. And if you even dare speak out, they tell you, “You're here to learn”. Learn what? Some random formula? Some stupid book written 500 years ago?
And not only that, the principal gets to enjoy a nice office, break room, couch and TV. Meanwhile I have to sit in a room filled with future wage slaves who dismiss any idea of change because the system has indoctrinated them into thinking like that. I hate this. I hate this system, this country, everything. Class consciousness in America needs to fucking come back.
